10 quick fixes for winter bad hair day

Hi everyone,

Use a dry shampoo:

Dry shampoos are a lifesaver on a bad hair day. All you need to do is lift your hair, spray it on the roots and wait for a couple of minutes, before brushing it off to give your hair a fresh and non-greasy look.

Tame your flyaways:

If those pesky flyaways are the reason that your hair is misbehaving, don’t worry. Just coat your flyaways very lightly in some castor oil to ensure that they stay in place.

Instant curls:

Let’s face it; curls look absolutely fabulous when done right. But they take so much time and effort. If you find yourself craving some curls but have no time on hand, try this quick fix. Separate a ponytail into two sections and curl each section with your curling iron, and release the ponytail once you’re done.

Smooth your ends:

There’s nothing worse than split ends when it comes to your hair, now is there? But who has the time to run to the parlour every time they crop up? Bid your time till your next salon visit by blow-drying your hair and using a large round brush to roll the ends of your hair under. This will make sure that your split ends stay hidden, quickly and effectively.

Bun it!:

The easiest and quickest fix to any bad hair day is to just tie it up in a bun. Tie up a fancy top knot and jazz it up with an embellished hairband for a fast, stylish up do.

Add some volume:

If your hair is sticking to your scalp and looks flat, adding some volume to your hair will work wonders. Just blow dry your hair upside down for an instant root lift.

Braid it:

Braids your hair in your crown area to hide your oily roots and finish off with some glossing spray to combat a bad hair day.

Solve your bangs problem:

Nothing looks worse than unruly curling bangs. Flatten your bangs with wet fingertips and a blowdry to get them back to looking stylish

Keep it easy:

If you don’t have time for absolutely any hair hacks, and still need your bad hair day to instantly disappear, just change your parting. Your hair is used to falling down in a certain way. If you change your parting and the natural fall of your hair, you’ll instantly be treated with more volume, and happier hair.

Don a turban:

And if nothing else works, just style up a classy turban, and cover your bad hair day up.
