- 2 cups maida / all-purpose flour / plain flour
- ¾ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- salt to taste
- ¾ tsp sugar
- ¼ cup curd / yogurt
- 3 tsp oil
- water as required, to knead

- 7 pickled jalapeños, based on spice level

- ½ cup mozzarella cheese, grated

how to make pizza dough
- firstly, in a large mixing bowl take maida.
- furthermore add baking powder.
- also add baking soda. do not change the proportion of baking powder and baking soda.
- add sugar. sugar helps to get golden brown colour while baking and also fastens fermentation process.
- further add salt and give a good mix.
- then add curd. use slightly sour curd for fastening fermentation process.
- additionally add oil to make a soft dough.
- crumble the dough and mix well.
- furthermore, add water as required and start to knead.
how to make pizza on tawa
- firstly, take the pizza dough and knead for 30 more seconds .
- furthermore, tuck the dough well.
- also with the rolling pin roll to slightly thick chapati.
- dust with flour if it sticks to the rolling pin.
- further, leaving a cm or more and create a dent. this helps the crust to fluff slightly.
- then prick with centre of dough with the help of fork to prevent pizza base from fluffing up like chapati.
- transfer the base making sure the pricked side is facing up on to the medium hot non stick tawa.
- roast for 30-40 seconds on medium heat till the bubbles start to appear.
- immediately, take off the pizza base and grease the tawa with olive oil.
- then flip over the pizza base making sure the pricked side is facing down.
- furthermore, keeping the flame on low spread pizza sauce.
- also top with onions and capsicum.
- further, top jalapeños and black olives.
- then spread generous amount of grated mozzarella cheese over the base.
- then apply olive oil over the sides of pizza crust.
- sprinkle oregano and cover with a lid.
- once the cheese melts immediately cut into slices.
- finally, serve pizza hot with chilli flakes and oregano on top.
