mozzrella cheese tawa pizza recipe

Ingredients
pizza dough recipe
  • 2 cups maida / all-purpose flour / plain flour
  • ¾ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • salt to taste
  • ¾ tsp sugar
  • ¼ cup curd / yogurt
  • 3 tsp oil
  • water as required, to knead
pizza recipe
  • ¼ cup plain flour / maida / all-purpose flour, to dust
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp pizza sauce
  • ¼ cup onion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 7 pickled jalapeños, based on spice level
  • ¼ cup black olives, chopped
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • ½ tsp oregano / italian seasonings
Instructions
how to make pizza dough
  1. firstly, in a large mixing bowl take maida.
  2. furthermore add baking powder.
  3. also add baking soda. do not change the proportion of baking powder and baking soda.
  4. add sugar. sugar helps to get golden brown colour while baking and also fastens fermentation process.
  5. further add salt and give a good mix.
  6. then add curd. use slightly sour curd for fastening fermentation process.
  7. additionally add oil to make a soft dough.
  8. crumble the dough and mix well.
  9. furthermore, add water as required and start to knead.
how to make pizza on tawa
  1. firstly, take the pizza dough and knead for 30 more seconds .
  2. furthermore, tuck the dough well.
  3. also with the rolling pin roll to slightly thick chapati.
  4. dust with flour if it sticks to the rolling pin.
  5. further, leaving a cm or more and create a dent. this helps the crust to fluff slightly.
  6. then prick with centre of dough with the help of fork to prevent pizza base from fluffing up like chapati.
  7. transfer the base making sure the pricked side is facing up on to the medium hot non stick tawa.
  8. roast for 30-40 seconds on medium heat till the bubbles start to appear.
  9. immediately, take off the pizza base and grease the tawa with olive oil.
  10. then flip over the pizza base making sure the pricked side is facing down.
  11. furthermore, keeping the flame on low spread pizza sauce.
  12. also top with onions and capsicum.
  13. further, top jalapeños and black olives.
  14. then spread generous amount of grated mozzarella cheese over the base.
  15. then apply olive oil over the sides of pizza crust.
  16. sprinkle oregano and cover with a lid.
  17. once the cheese melts immediately cut into slices.
  18. finally, serve pizza hot with chilli flakes and oregano on top.
