Merchant is well known for acting in the shows Ek Hasina Thi and Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar and was a participant in season nine of the reality show Bigg Boss.Merchant was a participant in the reality TV show Bigg Boss 9 along with her boyfriend Suyyash Rai.
Kishwer Merchant is dating actor Suyyash Rai. The couple is planning to get married in December. Kishwer said, "We will be tying the knot in December this year. Though we do not wish to reveal the date now, but that too will be out soon, say probably by the next month." After 6 years of dating both got married on the 16 December 2016.

The beautiful couple, who settle for a court marriage had a lavish reception party attended by popular TV celebs in Mumbai. For the reception party Kishwer and Suyyash were colour coordinated. Kishwer looked splendid a light-coloured saree gown, which was paired with minimal makeup and heavy jewellery....
